Playing Multiple Characters

Playing Multiple Characters
Playing Multiple Characters is allowed on this server. Playing only one char is just not enough for many reasons listed below. Many servers will limit the players to one char at a time to stop players from cheating, corpse harvesting. Several members of our team each have nearly 5 years of NWN game playing experience. Sad as that may be, we will know if someone is cheating and we will deal with it separately. There is no reason to stop all players from playing multiple characters.

While it is acceptable and normal, keep in mind that playing multiple chars is harder to do and can be less rewarding with lots of different characters. Keeping all of the different stories separate can be hard to do.

Long Distances
Sereward is a long ways away from the other settlements and some players will start there. It may be useful for other players to have an alternate character that lives in Sereward as a dwarf.

Level Differences
Sometimes we all want to play the game together but one of us is level 15 while everyone else is level 2. That is not nearly as risky or fun, depending on the situation, so sometimes players like to have multiple characters for different character requirements.

Retire
Characters can easily retire. Arrange the purchase of a home, maybe a nice one on a bluff and live out your days there! Many chars will find some desire for this.

Live in the Afterlife
The after life is not fully developed yet but some chars will be able to live long rewarding lives in the planes after death if they are clever! This does allow a small chance that people can talk with the dead.

Delete
If you have old chars that are long dead and you have no interest in playing them anymore, you can request that they be deleted from the Server Vault. This doesn't really delete them but moves them to another location for you, just in case.
