A part of Planar Physics, the Plane of Death is the last of the Metaphysical Planes, it is totally unique, unparalleled and can only be reached in two ways. One way is via the Spirit World and natural mortal death, the other is through the Plane of Shadow which is highly improbable and extremely rare.

 

This is where all mortal characters in The Dawn of Time will end up when they die. Elves are not mortals; therefore, they may end up in the death plane for a while but they will usually find a way out to sit with their elders somewhere else in one of the other Metaphysical Planes, like the Astral Plane.
