The best way to gain XP is to start out in Springwell Junction and talk to the Military Commander by the gate as the commoners in town will suggest to players if asked. There is a hill that guards the port and it allows the military to keep the road clear of vermin. Climb up the hill near the gate and keep the road on the other side clear with a ranged weapon. This should be a very easy way to get some XP at low levels. Once that area is cleared players need to ensure that they make some gold and then travel to Sea View by boat and look for similar opportunities. Boat rides always give around 100 XP, (less for short trips, more for longer trips) so all together, this is a very easy and simple way to get some XP and out of level 1 very quickly if needed.

 

All other settlements have opportunities like this but Springwell Junction and Sea View have the easiest opportunities. Starting out as a Dwarf for example is much harder, there will not be as many good opportunities like that in Sereward. Starting a new character in the other settlements should be done if players are looking for a greater degree of challenge.
