A part of Planar Physics, the Celestial Plane is the conduit between the Ethereal Plane and the other Metaphysical Planes.

 

The word "celestial" (like astral) indicates of place among the stars and is used in reference to the astral plane because astral matter does not require a light source to make it visible as astral matter gives off its own light, like stars do. The Celestial plane is favored by the Gods and it is often referred to as a world of emotion and illusion.

 

Traveling to the Astral Plane

By looking at the Planar Physics model, we can see that the Celestial Plane can only be reached metaphysically through the Ethereal Plane; however, the Ethereal Plane is parallel to the Material Plane. Therefore, there is no real edge to Ethereal Plane. So access to the Celestial Plane from the Ethereal Plane is done through magical meditation, mantra, lucid dreaming and Astral Projection. Some powerful Clairvoyants can reach the Celestial Plane from the Material Plane while in the dream state but the safest way is to meditate from the Ethereal Plane.

 

The Celestial Plane is home to many Gods and Elves.
